Minelab pro find freaks out from time to time

At least a few times every time I go out my pro find goes on a beeping spree causing me to turn it off and back on to stop it. Has anyone else had this issue? Thinking about replacing it with a Garrett

I have the same issue with the Garrett, usually a light tap on the ground makes it stop.... You could try that...

Sometimes when it is acting up up pressing into the ground makes it beep. The more pressure the more it beeps
I turn it off, wipe the tip and turn it back on and it seems to fix the problem.
