Hi folks,
I have decided to give metal detecting a rest for a while, and am selling my Safari with stock pro coil. I bought this detector new a year and a half ago and it has found me a lot of great stuff, including many silver coins. If you know anything about this detector, then you know it is a deep seeker and a lot easier to use than an SE or E-Trac. I absolutely love this detector, so when I do decide to get back into detecting, I will most likely buy another brand new Safari. That's how much I prefer using one.
The detector itself is in excellent working order. The display screen is near perfect, as I have always kept a rain cover on it. The rest of the body, of course, has a year and a half worth of normal wear and scratches. I will include the coil cover but I would suggest getting a new one as the original cover has recently worn down pretty good and is near useless.
I will send the detector in its original box and include the following:
-- 8 Radio Shack rechargeable batteries w/ 2 battery chargers
-- Safari manual
-- Andy Sabisch's book "Mastering the Quattro"
-- 2 books by Charles Garrett: "How to Find Lost Treasure" & "The Sport of Coin Hunting"
Forgot to mention that the foam grip has worn down some and has been partially taped up.
Dropping the price to $625 shipped to the lower 48. If you need to see pictures, feel free to PM me.
Thanks for looking,
Ray
