Mini Ball or??

Hi folks,

Wondering if you can tell me what this is? Weighs 2.5 grams and does stick to magnet. Found in the yard of a 90 year old house in Pasadena, CA. Wondering if I should use some not electrolysis on it?

Minnie balls were lead...magnets don't stick to lead. And lead doesn't rust. Ball bearing would be my guess, too. Something round and iron, that's what you've got there I believe.

The closest it could come to ammo would be steel ball for sling shots.
