Mini Golden Elephant Clasp?

What I first thought to be rubber or plastic turned out to be metal. After many looks and days later, I think it might actually be gold. There looks to be a mark that ends in a k and sure seems to have some gold guild in there.


Not exactly sure what it is. A clasp, belt buckle....something. But it’s small and cute and hey, could be gold.




I could also be totally seeing things. Definitely an elephant though

Based on the size, I'm thinking it's a gold-plated on brass, bracelet clasp.
