mini Hermatite celt?

Found this polished Mini Hematite celt Western Ohio. I looked online. Not many this small posted. How much is it worth? What would it be used for. There are pecking marks on both ends.

Its a nice looking well polished stone alright, but i dont think its a celt

I agree. It just doesn't have the shape of a celt that would fit into the tapered mortise of a handle.

Agree its not been worked and shaped. Natural.

OhioDeb, these guys are correct. That is just a naturally polished stone and not a Hematite Celt.
