Hi I found these at a charity shop, miniature jugs I think the jugs are silver, with gold plates (thought they were brass but have patches of wear that has revealed silver colour underneath) . does anyone recognise the marks on the bottom?all the jugs have the marks and the plates too. havnt got a clue what they are or where there from, how old they are ect would love someone to shed some light on them! Thanks in advance for any suggestions /help!
agree with jimdon, dont look like silver marks, but makers marks.they appear to be creamers.style was simple and may have been inn or resturant use.likely late 1800s to early 1900s.
Thanks for your help guys it does look like it could be Hebrew but i also see the swan now so i dont know... will keep researching though till I find out! I will be getting them tested next week
