Our Club had a hunt today in Walkersville, MD (Frederick County). I dug this piece of lead that is nearly flattened from impact. My question is whether this may be a minie ball; it appears to have two or more rings near an open base. One of our Club members has already recovered two minie balls from this farm site. Two musket balls were also dug here in the past week.
