Minnesota token, any ideas?

Does anyone know the source of this token and/or its age? Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: The Menter Clothing Company was once a chain of stores throughout the Midwest. The token was given out as a discount to potential customers. Other Menter store tokens have been attributed to Kansas City, Grand Rapids and Saginaw, Michigan as well as Chicago, Minneapolis, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio.

The company founder, Charles Menter died in 1913. The company was in business until 1954.
