Just be aware: These "super minus tides" don't necessarily equate to "More finds". If the wet sand inter-tidal zone is sterile (ie.: sand having come "in"), then .......... the only thing that super minus tides do, is: give you LOTS more sand with which to walk around in, and find nothing :(

At present there's been no CA erosion/storms to speak of. However, I just saw one lucky CA hunter, who, somewhere in So. CA, did find a cut with hundreds of coins being found under it. Fluke ? I dunno.

Good luck. Hope you can find a pocket. I was the guy that found the 700 coins last week under one cut. Would say just lucky but I read the swell reports directions and learned my local beaches. Then scouted many beaches to find the big cut. Too bad everything is now sanded back in. I hate to see these huge negative tides go to waste. Hopefully you get lucky. Based on what I have seen since Friday afternoon, I don't expect much. Never hurts to try. Also the holiday weekend was hot and beaches packed. So there may be decent recent drops in the wet and dry. Have fun. I would join but work gets in the way.
