Went it my favorite drink store and as always, asked the cashier for any coins, to which she said I just opened a new roll of pennies and there was one that was not stamped at all. I said quickly I'll take it! She said I gave it in change and the guy kept it. Almost!

Old thread and besides it sounds like the cashier gave the coin out in change earlier that day not to some guy in front of the op in line.

It's frustrating when tellers tell you about the ones that got away. Many times I've had tellers tell me about some amazing old collection of old coins that somebody brought in (yesterday, last week, last year, etc.) that are long gone. So frustrating -- makes me want to plug my ears and hum "I CANT HEAR YOU"
