Mississippi shipwrecks

Hi all

I was recently told a story about a shipwreck in the mississippi gulf (perhaps around the 1890's?). This ship was suppose to have a vault with gold eagles onboard. In 1970 a shrimp boat snaged part of the ship and brought up some gold but it was lost before anything could be recovered. Anyone hear of this? I dont even know the ship's name. Anybody got any other info?
