A. the Hopis know where the Spanish and Indians fought. Their are still relics on or close under the ground.
B. the Hopi elders have Spanish helmets and other Spanish artifacts in their possession.
C. The Hopis know where the ancient members of their tribe dismantled early Spanish missions ,some foundations are still visable.
Of -course all on Indian reservations, and not accesable.
Its for this reason some Spanish missions will never be located.
While driveing through Arizona I made a rest stop near Two-Guns,Ariz.and met a Hopi argiologist and exchanged some very interesting talk, includeing about still unfound Iron door mines in the Tumincara region.
