Mixed bag today at the beach

Was lucky the Gold metal still had a portion of the chain hanging onto the loop,You can't see it in the picture but the metal says Beijing 2008 with the Olympic symble, both the chain and metal are marked 14kt, total weight 9 grams. The the other pendent/metal is very unusual, seems very old on the back the writing that I can read is, maybe Salvgge?? I don't know. It was a quick 1 1/2 hours for me.
