Hi all, I figured someone on this side of the forum might know what kind of teeth these are. We found them on the beach in west central Florida.

We thought they may be squid or octopus beak/teeth, but after a little research, does not appear to be so.

Any ideas?

Thanks...

Not shark teeth, but don't know.

We do lot's of shark teeth diving and my wife makes necklaces out of them... Not even close to sharks teeth.

They look more like claws than teeth to me, but I have no clue what animal they're from.

I was thinking claws too. I found some Miocene era crab claws at Calvert Cliffs in MD last year and they were very similar.

These have serrations on what appears to be the outside. What claw would have them there?

Crab "Thumb" claws

I've cleaned lot's of Blue Crabs, and Stone Crabs. I don't ever recall seeing any claw this shape or size on either one of them.
