Having a water machine that can adjust to the hunt conditions as needed is a great advantage, whether it be the coverage or depth of a large coil, or being able to swap out to a super small coil for those trash areas close into the shore. Luck has it the Minelab Sovereigns has many options for coils and now these can be used on the Excalibur if a summer of testing goes well.... First hunt went well last Sunday, 75 minutes with the 10 inch, fitting/detector submerged most of the time...hunt ended early with a broken rod end. And this is the second hunt Monday, little over two hours, trashy area using the little S-5, she performed very well picking out four silvers, then issues started and it became impossible to use, but not because of the connector.
