Monday's 2 ring water hunt
Well conditions couldn't have been better. Hit the water at 4pm for the out going tide at 6pm. I managed two rings! The first ring sounded nice I was anxious to dig it! I was waist deep and pulled out a mens sterling silver ring. I looked down the beach and saw a fellow hunter working the other half of the beach. So i stopped went from a perpendicular grid pattern to a parallel pattern along the beach. Well it paid off bam another nice sound this one in knee deep water on top of a sand bar! I dug into some real hard pack about three good scoops and was pumped to see what appeared to be a gold ladies ring! I was all excited until I checked it out on the beach and saw some black marks around the ring. Almost looked plated. I did finally spot a 925 stamp inside the ring. Two rings is better than no rings!
