Monday's Two Boxes.....

didn't produce like my last two...not even close!! It was still fun though. I found a 71-D off center too.

Had a first for me today.....when I picked up the two boxes I did my customary lean over the counter move and took a peek into the coin tray and what did I see.......my first silver dime!!!! You guys are right....they stick out like a sore thumb. No mistaken......wahooooo!!

Anyway, the two box results......

21 Keepers....plus that off center which I am not too familiar with these. Is there any value in this coin?

Bravo on the silver LJ. Even your less productive boxes are better than most.

That 71-D is only considered truly off-center if the reverse is offset in the same way. If it isn't, then you have a misaligned die, which is fairly common.

Well good score on the halves, and nice dime!!! I always look at the teller's trays, and sometimes I get some weird looks. I'm pretty tall, so I can loom over the counters.

That's cool - you got an eagle eye for silver.
I can spot them a mile away also - If the loose halves look like they have no silver I tell them I'm just looking for rolls.
That misaligned 71 sure is neat!

Same here. If they only have a few the tellers always seem to pick them up and count them out. All the while I am looking for any telltale signs of silver. If I don't see any I thank them and tell them I need 20 rolls and they understand that their 5 or 6 won't help very much.

Good going on the finds, you are a Major League player in this hobby with most of the rest of us trying to get out of the Minor Leagues. Keep posting the pics and keep those totals going up.
