I had this Monster Axe show up the other day for sale. It si 11-1/2" x 5-1/2", weighs atleast 15 pounds,going to post office today to have it weighed.Enjoy Michael

It looks like the type of hardstone or granite
that gets kinda brittle. I found one where the
material had dissolved then the edges seemed
to turn dark where the material has worn off
recently from being exposed or from handling.
Here is one I found last spring with a type of
coarse dissolved surface. It's my belief some
types of granite or hard stone artifacts were
smoother, but have dissolved some due to the
long period of time being in the ground. Being
in a fire might also increase the dissolve rate
later.
