I’ve not posted my finds in awhile because they’ve been unremarkable. Been hitting clad like it’s going out of style, and I think that’s from getting better with my Equinox 600. Today was the third hunt without charging the Nox, and I got 15 hours from the battery before it started letting me know it was running out of juice. The battery icon started flashing, so I changed over to the AT Max. Talk about abusing my ears!!!
I haven't hunted with it for quite some time, and I had to rethink how to get it from being so darn chirpy. Even after ground balancing, cutting back sensitivity and doing a factory reset, I got it to where it was at least acceptable, but not anything like hunting with a Nox. So I posted it for sale (not here) and will use the proceeds to move up to an 800. I really want those adjustable tones, and I’ll keep the 600 as my backup machine. Just need to change one hook in the truck to hang it.
Anyway, along with today’s clad, I added 82 pieces of clad to the clad jar. Year to date I’m at 630 pieces in the jar for $102.55, and way more pennies than I can count. Thus doesn’t count any silver or $1 coins...I keep those in a different container. Yesterday I picked up ring #15, and it rang up a solid 23. It’s 10k over sterling.
Looking at some rain for the next couple of days, so maybe I’ll be forced to stay home and do my taxes. It’s not April yet, so I’m still good!

Also made some time to get my detectors off the floor of my van, and made a new 26” root cutting shovel.
