More CSA finds Two Cast I's Ky Button Texas Star

This is another CSA camp I could not get the trio in on... Just solo hunting only. Took me 3 yrs to hunt this site. I found cast I buttons, Ky button, the center pc to a two pc militia buckle prob. Texas. There was Texas troops in this area. Lots of Enfields and 69 round balls, and a few 69 3-ringers, and etc.... Special thanks to L.H. For the help with the map..... Happy New Years to ALL. Josh

Wow. That piece of a Texas young is amazing. How about a shot of the back. That in its self is a banner of a find.

The back is just plain... Thanks for the reply. Here is a pic of total finds so far... Josh

Josh,
Quindy is right, you certainly are a CW relic vacuum. Those are some awesome recoveries. Tx center piece, KY and "I" buttons, Enfields, and 69's. It doesn't get much better Dude.
I lost track......who owes who a lunch?
Congrats,
Doug (Not to be confused with that Tenn Doug character)

Love seeing all the great military history you dig! Very limited here in Maine so it's cool to see the items that I prob will never dig up. I don't complain though, I have lots of colonial stuff here so I guess everything evens itself out. Love seeing your posts Josh. Happy New Year and keep the good stuff coming!

Thanks Ahab and Doug... Seems like they find a way to always try to change the rules and stick me with lunch..... Lol

Don't let those old coots take advantage of a young guy. They get senior citizen discounts and you don't. :tongue3:

Awesome finds, glad to see all those Confederate relics being saved and coming from one site. Love the buttons and if only you could find the rest of that star sash buckle would be a one heck of a find.
Congrats, cant wait to see what's next.

Doug has trained you well (dodging buying lunch that is). Which one of those Block "I"s is mine? Wish I was there-LOL, Q.

REMEMBER-Majority rules in determining what qualifies who to buy lunch!

Nice job TJ, your in the spot. HH...

Very nice finds.

A Confederate spot is a treat. And that spot is loaded with some very nice examples. That star and block buttons would make my year. When you get enfields you know you are close.
Congratulations and Happy New Year!
:hello:

I love seeing the Confederate stuff........awesome finds!!!

great finds, awesome

super relics!

Those are some wonderful finds. Which field exactly were you hunting?
LOL
Dman

Your Star likely has nothing to do with Texas.More of that buckle are dug in(civilian) sites that pre date the C.W. and have no Texas affiliation. The wreath in your reference picture isnt the proper one either.Great finds!!!

Big congrats Josh. You are in a great area to dig Confederate relics. Love your finds and hope that you can add to your collection in the coming months.

Just awesome. Congratulations

That Doug does seem to have some shifty eyes, lol. I bet he "forgets" the checkbook often, doesn't he? Lol, you 3 have some great hunts and I always enjoy the videos. Being a native Kentuckian, you can guess my favorite find. Congrats and Happy New Year to you.
