Nice finds Dane, be careful with the polyhedral weights. A set of these recently sold for £1,440 !. Wish I had not sold mine now over the years for very little.
Robert.

As you might know we in Denmark have this special law saying that we have to deliver all old finds (Danefae) to the museum and get a so called Danefae-fee for them.
So the option of selling them will not be possible for me, would be illegal, and I wouldn´t want to do so. It would be as if I sold out of the history of my own country. :)

I see, the article about the weights selling for £1,440 was in this Aprils searcher magazine. I've got a copy.

Put it this way if you have found the set I will buy them, I sold my weights for £15/£30 each (as we say in Yorkshire, dropped a major bollock). I will post a picture of the article, when I get the magazine back from my brother. Give me a couple of days. As for the dirham fragments, I found into double figures, always like yours broken in to roughly quarters. I still though have a one dot weight that I didn't sell. Here's some pictures of my recent Viking finds from another site.
Robert.
