Howdy all,
Today started out rainy but turned into a beautiful sunny afternoon. So like always I spent a few hours hunting. I headed to the same field I have been workin lately. This field has kicked loose an gold ring, silver chain, and a couple silver earrings so far. Tons of clad to keep me busy in between treasure finds as well. Today I was working the edge next to the parking lot and diggin everything. First keeper was the little silver friendship ring. At first I thought it was a pulltab. It almost went into the trash pouch. Instead of the band being round it is flat just like the old pulltops were. Almost fooled me. Then right toward the end of my couple hours I was workin my way back to the car. The closer to the parking lot the more trash there is. I was about 6 feet from the car and dug the 14k gold religious medal. First one for the year. I usually find quite a few of these every year around the soccer fields. I have a long way to go on this field and hopefully it will keep producing for me. Thanks for looking and luck in the hunt.
