Keep doing pennies, I scored a good stack of pennies in the teens, twenties :) No indian head cents though :(
Happy hunting!

my oldest penny find was a 1900 Indian Head Cent

For all denomination coin, buying them by the box tends to be more productive in keepers.

Good job on the wheat! keep on getting more!

Dihren, He shows off a lot with that Indian head :'(
High Hopes for you :)

Dihren, if you can increase your volume, you would do better with your hunting. One silver dime per box ($250/box) seems to be a pretty common average that people report. Same scenario for nickels and cents. Volume is king. If your bankroll is limiting you try asking for loose or rolled halves and after you get those, if you still have cash left, get the dimes nickels and cents. I do pretty well with the halves from the teller tray. Good luck and HH

Keep up the great work! You will find the silver soon enough! It is there, you just have to keep looking!! Everyone else had great advice for you as well so I will not repeat

Yeah just keep moving forward. I did $610 in dimes this week and got 1 nice 1960. I got 1 box from one bank and and $360 from CWR. I think they were someones dumps. But I got one new dime to a add to the stack.

My oldest cent found coin roll hunting.

Yah my bank usually doesn't even have half dollars, but occasionally they have $5-10 in loose and I always get them. And volume is a bit of a problem because I only ever the money that I have in my wallet, but as I keep on doing this, I hope to get more serious and spend more. Thanks for sharing all of your finds and advice!

Steal a kids lunch money, search it for coins :D that could help finds/expand bankroll ;)
Good luck!

Haha Wicka!! Well thanks everyone for the encouragement! I went through $20 of pennies and found my 5 Wheaties including a my oldest penny! A 1944! Making baby steps toward that dream Indian Head! I also got two Canadian pennies from the 1980's. And another $35 of dimes and skunked. And now that you mention it Whicka, I did sort through my older brothers bag of loose change change and found a 1955 Wheatie and a 1917!!!

I honestly don't think he found it CRH'ing.. But yeah, keep it up with cents, I got a pile if you wanna buy em ;)
I've searched about 10-15 boxes and no IHC, pretty close though, I think I got a 1910 and most people get 1909's by their 10th box. :(
well, Happy hunting, keep us up to date :)
