Such an epic find. There has to be an epic story to go with it.
The coins looked to be in fantastic shape (in the original thread) with not much corrosion, so it must have been a dry area where they were found.
Please give us more of the story.

What made you decide to search where you did?
Was it research, an old treasure story, one of the fabled "Lost Mine" locations?
Walking your dog and stumbled across and old can?
Were you with a buddy?
How deep?
Small hole?
Large Hole?
Type of machine?
Treasure map involved?
In a ceramic jar?
Any dates on any of them?
