Went back to my favorite abondoned campsite this morning to try to find more pieces of what some TNet members think are parts of a parlor stove.

Definitely. Nice finds.

I've been following your threads on this, and can't wait to see what others say. It's exciting to see all of these parts, and I bet you'll uncover the entire stove very shortly. :icon_thumright:

Thanks for following. My wife is starting to look at me like I have five heads. For some people, it would seem, that there needs to be a monetary value for an object to be "worth" something. I am more into the investigation and thrill of finding history under the soil.(Dont get me wrong, finding valuables is awesome).

Does your wife do any treasure hunting with you? I bet if she gets out there and scores something, she'll get bitten by the same bug, lol.

As an aside, I'm sure there's good monetary value in the parts right now, aside from the wonderful historical value. Decorative iron goes for quite a bit in the architectural salvage places in these parts.
