More road cut fossils.

There were some new ones for me at this site. & it held fossils completely different from the cut just 50 ft. away. Geology is a mind blowing science! Love it!

Well I'm stumped. Brachiopods?
 
Your mystery fossil looks like Gryphaea or "Devils Toenail'' a bivalve fossil mollusk, which are quite common.

Old d, I looked at those in my book but ruled them out, now I am thinking Leperditia? or Cyzucus. Better resemblance. I will try to get better picture. I also found tiny white circles that look similar to present day barnacles. I can't get a good enough pic to enlarge it where they can be seen. Maybe I will take it to the college & see if they could take a pic for me, & help ID. I love the mystery of it all.
 
You may be right about the Leperditia. Here is a photo that I found and the shape does look consistent with the ones in your sample. IMG_0230.webp 025.webp
