Sunday i found 10 more shell frags , 3 roundballs and a chewed bullet and a 3 ringer and a 1906 German 2 pfennig coin. I have about 3 or 4 shells partially assembled from the fragments (total 45 frags from this field so far)...anyone have a good way to keep the pieces together when re-assembling a shell or cannonball?....some clay at the joints?..super glue?...any ideas?...is there a standard method used?
