Another beautiful morning at the beach....slight breeze..just the way I like it. :icon_sunny:

Hunted 3 1/2 hours chasing the tide out.

First find was a "GHEL" earring..looked really good for a few seconds..but was not to be. :icon_scratch:

Later heard the most weird sound emanating from the coil ....very loud, erratic , "canslaw" sound...was expecting a soda can , but was rewarded with a large ( and I believe quite old) silver ring with 67 tiny stones in it.

The ring was about 8" deep and surprisingly, only 3 stones were missing from the 67.

Here's some pics

Thanks for looking

Lorraine

That is pretty impressive and totally exciting. Sounds like you hunt a lot. I am just starting, but my husband has been at it a long time. I was just so excited about finding what I found yesterday, pull-tabs, screws, nails, weights etc. Then we finally found a ring. Then the mystery starts... whose was it, how long ago was it lost, what were the circumstances, etc.... I am addicted. Have a good day and happy hunting. TomKat

That does look like a very old styled ring, I would be thrilled to find that! Congrats on the great digs!

Good hunt....that ring does look old....with the price of silver, those quarters are a nice find.
