I've fallen behind on posting my finds, here's my last 3 hunts and all from our latest permission. First two days were solo hunts just me.
Day one was first hunt no silver was found. I did manage a couple more Indians, wheats, buffalo, and our first civil war lead.
Day 2 was a little mix of what we'd been finding. KG II, another Indian, wheats, buffalo, v-nickel and a single silver 42 merc. Also found a little piece we think might be gold, I'll have to go have it tested.
Day 3 was yesterday and was another single silver day for me finding a 1914 barber dime. Actually 3 day silver with the kid finding two war nickels with one being only half a nickel. Lol Some one cut a war nickel in half, his first cut silver. Lol
Not much more was found from either of us except I found another 11 wheats and an old Yale lock. The kid did find a few flat buttons.

Congrats to you and your son.
I have never recovered one of those old locks
or 1/2 nickel. lol

I found a big ole railroad lock before too, those big brass locks are loud and will blow your ears out. Lol

Had the piece we thought was gold tested today, my first gold for 2017 and our second gold from this site. It tested good for 10K.

Love the buffalo nickel. it's not often you get one in such nice shape with a bold full date. Congratulations!
