Back at the silver farm this morning after a visit from the Colonel and three days of rain; a good chance to continue the silver streak and let the children get wet and muddy again
. The silver suspense was ended early by this 43 Washington; it appears to be in good enough shape to replace one already in the kids' collections. The 35S will certainly fill an empty spot. Also found a 17D wheat that is in better shape than the scanner shows; I find lots of old wheats but few with mintmarks so I posted it. Completing the hunt was this dark 42 Merc with fine details but blemished in other ways. Also found these lapel pins; I'm especially curious about the one with the flags and the initials UNA Y.H.C. The flags appear to represent the US, Canada and Mexico. Also added .77 in clad, allowing me to break the buck barrier.

. Some pieces scan better than others, I guess.
