Damnails and I finally got to go out this morning for a few hours before the rain came. It has finally warmed up enough to get a digger in the ground.
We scouted out a farming feild on an old permission that we haven't checked before. This permission has produced some great civil war relics for both of us in the past and we were hoping to find a new hot spot but it didn't happen.
I did manage a few relics and it sure felt good to swing the beast. I found some horse tack, a piece of a stove, a part to a oil lantern and what I think is a piece off of a necklace minus the stone. You can see where the stone once was. Also have a what is it that I'll post there.
Hope everyone got out and thanks for looking. IMG_20180210_112225233.webpIMG_20180210_112120440.webpIMG_20180210_112109065.webpIMG_20180210_112043195.webpIMG_20180210_112051330.webp

Nice finds, glad you got out! :occasion14:

Congrats for getting out, keep scouting, your bound to turn up another great producing place. :icon_thumright:

Good on you for getting out. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and you can get out a bit more. The rain has kept me out of the action.

Spring will be here shortly.

Thanks guys. We have several new leads to investigate and we are looking forward to better weather. Won't be long now.

Congrats on getting out and finding a few relics.
I got nothing but frozen ground and nasty weather.

Nice to see you and your buddy got some dirt therapy in. The large round plate thingy is pretty cool. I hope you get an identification for it. Thanks for sharing your finds buddy.

Excellent hunt

The one piece is a bridle rosette isn't it?
