Re: Morris chair & sterling bracelet..

Yes I know there is a lot of fakes these days , but for 3.00 I can lose. I`ll post a pics of a "Reed & Barton" vegetable bowl that I purchased last year at a estate sale 10.00 and it was marked sterling, I also noticed a saturn shape hallmark on it so I researched it and found out it was from 1949. I then had that tested for it was heavy in weight and it tested positive for sterling.. It almost weighed 22 troy ounces. I found this on ebay and it is the same one . http://www.ebay.com/itm/14054786917...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_1964wt_1165

Love the Morris chair. We had one when I was growing up that was my favorite seat. A while back I found what was left of it where Dad had put it out by the barn to rot. Could have killed him.

Sorry to hear that , and hope you find one to replace.. You might want to save the hardware from your old morris chair, for the parts have value.
