we have had so much rain this year that the mosquitoes are out big time here. we have had standing water everywhere for long periods of time. Today, while doing some house repair, I happened to look into the cat's water dish to see mosquito larva all in it. So it was another quick check around the place looking for anything that might still be holding water. I have several rain barrels to hold water for the garden but have screen over them to keep them free of the little blood suckers. it has been a crazy year so far for the rain and no end in sight so far. nothing like seeing several tractors and other rigs buried up in the mud from trying to cut hay LOL. on the other hand, the ticks have been fairly light this year so far.

Easily fix the problem.Just 1 of dozens of how to videos.

My house sits in the middle of 2000+ acres of flooded rice fields. I can tell you a thing or two about skeeters.:BangHead:

I just got nailed about ten times on my feet and ankles wearing shorts and flip flops. The itching and scratching is driving me crazy!!

NO BUG problem here (any kind of bug) :) 002.webp

Clogged rain gutters are perfect mosquito habitat.

If you have open space, use purple martin houses, for field edges, bluebird houses, woods edges - try bat houses, for small ponds, topminnows and mosquitofish.
