Decided to try for some bottles at a place where I"ve detected many times. There was a depression in the ground and my homemade probe hit brick. It took awhile to get through the loose brick and then I started finding glass at four feet. I found some nice dishes broke in half with all the pieces I'm gonna repair just cause I like them. And several cork tops. There was a brick directly on top of this one so I had to be careful. My internet search says 19th c Salt Glaze Stoneware Wax Seal Canning/Preserve Jar. It was chipped in a couple places but mostly whole. I found pieces of them for years. Also some type of brown glaze pitcher minus the handle. Had a great time.
