Primary Interest:
Prospecting
put this together this spring with new gold hog mats, 12 volt motor with speed control on trammel, first tested with some gold hog concentrates, and caught most of the gold, trying different water flow @ 10 Deg angle. tested today with some local sand from pit, found very fine black sand in tailings, reduced the angle and found mats loading up, in VT I'm restricted to no motorized units in streams, last yr I did get a sluice permit for a specific stream, but with low water, I decided to try recirculating system in the back yard, and suggestions are greatly appreciated video on youtube https://youtu.be/SsISNsRHswE https://youtu.be/SsISNsRHswE

I like it and your way of thinking! the wheelbarrow was a good idea to remove the waste rock ! No sense moving waste rock twice !

Looks like it was fun building that one.

You should consider building a feed screw so you can get a consistent feed rate and don't have to spoon feed it.
Just dump half a 5 gallon bucket into a hopper then sit back and watch.

First. I have to find the gold , but good idea

Great design and fabricating! I can tell you put a lot of research and work into designing and building the system.
