Mouton D'or Jean le Bon (John the Good), king of France, around 1350.
Hello. This is my first post. I am waht you would call a picker and sometimes i come across items i dont feel qualified to authenticate.
The attched coin is one such item. It came from a box of curiosities, some of which i am still researching. My question is, does any one have any specific knowledge of this coin and could tell me from the pictures if they think it is worth further investigation. My Gut says Fake but as i have said, im no expert on ancient coins.
