Detector(s) used
White's XLT, Bounty Hunter IV
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I have been teetering and unsure as to what my next detector should be. I have considered a Tesoro Vaquero, a White's M6, and numerous other intermediate options. That having been said, I want to look at Bounty Hunter's models before I make a decision seeing as the Tracker IV has been nothing short of money (ba dum *cymbals*) for me. I need something that has more depth and distinction. The 505 is looking like a solid potential option for my second. What are the best BH models (preferably <$500)?

I heard a lot great reviews on the Platinum I have owned the 505 it did very well

Plain and simple answer to your question. Give the Platinum a look and read the reviews. I have had mine for about a month and think it is on par with detectors costing two to three time more. It can be bought for 299.00 and is worth more. Great depth, accuracy, and runninig cost(takes one 9 volt and lasts for 20 hours plus) R.L.
