moving to alpena area

hello everyone, i am moving with my family up to alpena area. has anyone hunted around the area, or live in the vacinity and would like to hunt this spring. please let me know. im newer to the hobby and looking to get out and enjoy it after winter. thanks and have a great day!!!

New to the area myself. I'm going to a meeting on the 19th of the Northeast Huron Detectors Club right in down town Alpena. It will be my first time there but i hear they have a nice small club. When you move up you should check it out as well. I'll be doing some research and looking for spots to hit this spring as well. Give me a shout and maybe we can get together and do some hunt'n.
