Mudlark items... any help?

Picture VI has a very middle or Buddha-esque vibe to it. I am going with it being some sort of religious offering. Which l, as I understand it are not particularly uncommon on the Thames. I am so jealous that would be so much fun. There is so much history in that.

Agreed, modern (20th c) 'offerings' to the River. Hindu?? (I forget)

How do you go about "hunting" in the river for pottery? Isn't there tons of broken glass in there? Gary
