"Mulga Bill's Bicycle " [Banjo Patterson 1894] and Deadman's Creek

Hi all, Been while , nasty cold wet winter down in part of world. Been out hunting gold mining area in Known as Eaglehawk. Many gullies and mines and puddling machines. Gold discovered in 1852 and for the next hundred and sixty years many tried their luck. Wonder about the title of this post.
This was poem written in 1894 by poet Banjo Patterson . Who wrote many well know Australian Poems. As the poem starts Mugla Bill from Eaglehawk. Locals call the area by it's nick name. So Welcome to the "Burra". The minee's right and abbotts price list and local post card are also the real deal. So enjoy my few finds for the last 3 months and hoping for a better spring .

What a great area to search! Especially like those ginger beer-type bottles and that Miner's hospital button...
