After being "off" for three days building my anniversary present for my bride, I went back to my first permission and searched 700LF by 8 foot of a new power line installed by ditch witch. Lot of trash, shred old barb wire and a electrical terminus that had me ringing and pinging. Ended up with one Memorial Penny, but was glad to get my first coin off the permission. It is buried in trash, but kept at it, being mindful there was a electrical line down there about 3 feet. It wasn't live yet, but it did show up constantly till I discriminated it. I'm not sure what the clump is, maybe the remains of baling wire. I destroyed it using my new Feskar. What a awesome tool it is, going to take some work not killing treasure! Drove around scouting some areas on the edge of the airport. See pics of finds below. Then not to be denied any loot, I headed to my favorite dumpster and found after digging a survival Dynamo/solar/battery powered Weather Band, AM, FM, flashing red and white LED, with thermometer playing in the dumpster. A little more digging and found a weather band radio by Radio shack. Good score! Great day in the field!
