Right now it's all about getting out and digging in great weather in unfrozen dirt.
3 different areas, sidelines at some soccer fields, back at the iron mine to see if I left anything cool and yesterday in the woods.
Nothing thrilling but all pretty neat and it's wonderful to dig again in good weather and unfrozen soil.
Another Kennedy half, not silver but I love seeing big coins in the hole.
A titanium wedding ring.
If this cheap sob respected his wife and his marriage this should have been gold ring #4 for the year...but it wasn't.
A smaller type skeleton key...Not a full size kind that is used on front and back doors, it fits something but I have no idea what that would be.
A keyhole cover plate for those full size skeleton key locks, my second one.
My first Merry Widow tin both top and bottom.
The first one in good enough shape to tell what it is, anyway.
This Tootsie car might end up to be one of my favorite non coin, relic or jewelry finds ever.
Barely buried under a little soil and a ton of leaves next to a tree, it must have been sitting there for decades.
Covered enough to protect it but not so deep it got wrecked this thing is in fantastic shape except for the paint and axles.
A 1959 Olds Delta 88 convertible made in the early 60's and my first large size Tootsie at almost 6" long.
Close to my age...I should be in as good as shape as this thing.
