nothing wrong with those digs...your right tho, dig everything until you know your detector... :icon_thumright:
 
Whoa!!!I wouldnt call a trade axe junk!!!

Careful calling old rusted iron junk,there are a lot of us relic hunters on here!! :laughing7:
 
trade axes are great finds indeed. get that into an electrolysis bath and see just how old it is.
 
The cone shape items in the third picture may be arrow points.I would have some one who knows native american relics look at them.
 
They are likely Janglers,they are usually rolled sheet brass,and were very common decoration with the Native Americans.....far from Junk!!
 
Picked up one of those trade axe at a tard sale in great condition.

Nice junky trade site. ;D A little piece of advice, don't throw anything away! :laughing7: That trade axe is like reaching down and putting a hundred dollar bill in your pocket.
