Mustang Island, St Padre Island Texas ~ Detecting Beaches

Understanding that its illegal to detect State Parks...Will I have any issues detecting "around" the Mustang State Park? I see there is alot of public areas still available, but wanted to know if anyone has ran into issues hunting down there. I plan on staying in the water for the most part.

Any insight would be great
