MXT VDI number help and ore identification help...

So I went detecting the other day on an old gold mine tailing pile.

I pulled up a 5-10 pound piece of ore of some sort. It reads a very steady 0 on VDI no matter what mode it is put on. Sometimes it will go to a +8, but 9 out of 10 passes, it sits steadily on 0 VDI. On prospecting, it's a solid 10%.

It's very heavy, but lead should be in the 50's, no? Silver is in the very high range. So what could it be? Any ideas?
