Here's a few finds; even though I think mine are Santa Fe's. I could be wrong; a Dalton has been a goal of mine for some time.

Here's a few finds; even though I think mine are Santa Fe's. I could be wrong; a Dalton has been a goal of mine for some time.
Nice mike I’m definitely no Dalton expert but as far as I know I’m to far up north to find the Santa Fe type. It was way up stream from a Copena site and the only point I found up there so I didn’t have any other examples to compare it to. I was with a friend and he said Dalton on it.
 

Here's another odd on I found in a dirt pile at a construction site many years ago in Central Georgia. The dimple in the base looks like damage. I forgot to post these pictures with the others.

Seriously wide base (comparing to your hand). Has a Dalton look IMO.
I believe they are often found ‘worked down’ like that.
 

And some other insitus. Finds in the last few years. Some are under water.
I wish I could help with that one. Certainly not a classic Dalton, but there are so many variants spread all over.
In the Northeast, we have a Hardaway-Dalton Variant that looks similar.
