Being a Dad and an old Uncle myself,
I understand the sentiment when one of our most precious treasures gets injured.
It makes us doubt our ability as parrents and we tend to realise how far short of the line we fall as parrents.

Be strong in your dedication Brother!
This will last for another 16+ years.
You are a fine Father and a wonderful Dad,
the trick to getting her though something like this is patience and keeping her mind occupied. give her lots to do and a variety of thing as you are aware her attention span is quite short.

Leaving in acouple of hours for LA for the LBH watch for a bunch of pics of people having a good time and see what they find! It might be comic relief for ya anyway!

Break leg and hurt go to ER for cast and meets the nice nurses and docs who fawnover her She learns that cast comes with cool colors and ICE CREAM She needs her peers and suddenly finds out that the cast has a definite advantage or those pesty boys after that they all be buddies again But the will continue at home. After a bit they never know it s. Kids are funny like that, cute too.
