Those coins are fantastic.All that in one year?Wow!Down here in Florida all I find is lousy ole jewelry.
 

Congrats on a great season rd. :occasion14: Those coins encased in wood are amazing finds. You just don't see that happening every year.

I especially enjoyed the "treasure tree" story, the only drawback to that story was... that now I am looking for one, every where I go!

I have always checked around thees and fallen trees. I have found a lot of coins around trees in the woods and fallen trees seem to be a place
for people to sit down and have found coins by the trees and once i found a coin on top of the fallen tree and a coin on top of a tree root on top of the ground.
I found a commemorative silver coin a few inches above the ground on a branch sticking out of a tree.
 

Great bunch of finds you made this year...nothing wrong with gold and silver!
