Fantastic 43 P nickel with great detail "congrats" - I went from 8 track stero to cassette Hi Fi in my first car, anyway thank you for sharing your pictures and stoey & I wish you many more while out dirt fishin.

Great find with the nickels.
I'm not sure what that ancient find is but judging the strange text on it I would have to guess Polynesian. Hi-Fi looks a lot like Hawaii.
Maybe some of the others here can help with ID.
I would certainly take it to a jeweler and have them look at it!
If that doesn't work, maybe one of the local universities could help!
