I got out to two county parks last week and today. I started swinging in the stubble fields now that that they've cut the meadows down. No tilling goes on in the parks unfortunately, just a haircut twice a year. The rangers have cut nice and low this year. The first field gave me the King George 2 shilling 1942 and the broken ring. I think the ring is pewter as it seems to have flaked a lot. Also a ton of pull tabs.

Today I headed to a field that should be the approx location of an 1800s distillery. I didn't hear much iron but managed the Spanish half. I'm having trouble with the mint mark. And the year 179?. I didn't have my glasses with me when I found it so figured it was a merc or barber. The KG2 was nearby, and the buttons.

Thanks for taking a look and HH
